A longer, grittier cut of 'Seklusyon' is coming

Erik Matti announced that he is releasing the International Director's Cut of his spiritual thriller 'Seklusyon' this January 14 at select cinemas.

The director shared the news on his Facebook page, and confirmed a more mature R-16 rating with this longer cut, which was shown at the Macao International Film Festival, a step-up from the R-13 rating given by the MTRCB from its initial run at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2016.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Matti promises a stronger film with this International Director's Cut, which includes a daring frontal nudity scene involving its star Phoebe Walker.

"The international cut is a lot more...a lot stronger," Matti said.
