Netflix has landed a deal with CBS to cater 'Star Trek' content into their long list of film/ TV library.

Armando Nuñez, CEO of CBS Studios International, announced that all 727 episodes of previous 'Star Trek' shows like "Star Trek: The Original Series," "Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "Star Trek: Voyager," and "Star Trek: Enterprise" will be available in international countries by the end of the year. The upcoming 'Untitled Star Trek Series' will also be premiering in Netflix in 2017.

"The launch of the new 'Star Trek' will truly be a global television event," Nuñez said. "'Star Trek' is a worldwide phenomenon and this international partnership will provide fans around the world, who have been craving a new series for more than a decade, the opportunity to see every episode virtually at the same time as viewers in the U.S. Thanks to our world-class partners at Netflix, the new 'Star Trek' will definitely be 'hailing on all frequencies' throughout the planet."

US and Canada Netflix subscribers unfortunately won't be getting it as CBS will provide a different paid-streaming service for both countries via  CBS All Access (U.S.) and Bell Media (Canada)

The inclusion of 'Star Trek' is part of the popular franchise's 50th anniversary, aside from the release of 'Star Trek Beyond' this week in theaters.
