The Robert Zemeckis-directed film based on a true story about a Frenchman's stunt on walking between the two towers of World Trade Center on a tightrope just had its world premiere at the New York Film Festival on September 27. The climactic "walk between the two towers" is what got people with vertigo nauseated.
“The last 20 minutes of the film I had to look away a couple of times because of the sensation of the height. I felt a little bit queasy. I felt nervous. It was a tingling sensation and some anxiety,” said Denise Widman, Board Director of Boston Jewish Film Festival who got to see the film early.

The movie is garnering raves from critics, Pete Hammond of Deadline pointed out that "Robert Zemeckis renews your faith in the wonder of movies. A thrilling movie experience for everyone.". It currently sits with a fresh 85% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

'The Walk' will be shown in October 14 in IMAX 3D and 3D theaters nationwide!
